PERFORMANCE

Setting up the Oppo Enco X2 is quite easy even with an iPhone. The app is there to make customisations, which include changing automatic noise cancellation (ANC) levels, and customise the sound among others. You can also tweak the gesture controls for the earbuds through the app. There are multiple presets — including one by Dynaudio — available which you can select from to find a signature sound that you like.

The Oppo Enco X actually surprised us with their overall consistent performance, so there were certain expectations from the Oppo Enco X2. Oppo has worked with Danish audio brand Dynaudio to boost the sound quality of the Oppo Enco X2. Before we get into the performance, let’s get the technical specs out of the way.

There’s a dual-driver setup — 11mm dynamic driver and 6mm planar magnetic driver — and it is not something which is commonly found in true wireless earbuds. Oppo Enco X2 support SMC, AAC and LHDC Bluetooth codecs. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2

Priced at Rs 10,999, the Oppo Enco X2 operate in the mid-range segment, which means competition is tough. There are options from Samsung, OnePlus, Jabra and others. The Oppo Enco X2 have nothing much to worry about as the sound quality is really impressive.

It won’t be inaccurate to say that the Oppo Enco X2 actually sound better than the segment they operate in — something that can’t be said for many true wireless earbuds. You may find the price a bit on the higher side but take our word on the Oppo Enco X2. You won’t go wrong with these true wireless earbuds.
