Good news for new content creators, Youtube has revised its monetization policy again in 2023and this time for the benefit of small and new creators on the platform.
Youtube is a goldmine for online content creators because it gives you access to unlimited potential to make huge money, That’s why almost every content creator has a youtube channel. Youtube pays creators with the ad revenue, the more clicks a video got the more revenue it generates.
Coming back to the main topic, Previously if you wish to monetize your youtube channel and show ads on your videos then you must complete two tasks before.
- Gain 1000 minimum subscribers
- Gain 4,000 hours of watch time.
These were the big barriers that stopped the new and small creators to monetize their content and make money because in the starting it’s hard for new creators to get enough views in order to make money.
According to a new youtube policy, you can get monetized if :
- Gain 1000 subscribers
- Complete 4,000 hours of watch time or 10 Million public shorts views.
